An Overview
Our specialties reflect the concerns and experiences represented across the HOPE team. Relationship issues and attachment are a primary focus, alongside anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, life transitions, military and first-responder experiences, and LGBTQ+ affirming counseling. We also see clients navigating parenting, addiction, neurodivergence, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, and other concerns listed below.
A specialty page is a place to learn about the concern, not a requirement to label your experience. Concerns often overlap. Grief may arrive with a transition, trauma may affect relationships, and stress may be connected to parenting, identity, disability, work, or family life. Your therapist can listen to the whole picture and work with the goals that matter to you.
The therapist row on each page is drawn from the team's own biographies and focus areas. It can help you compare experience, client groups, and approaches without asking you to choose alone. Counseling is available in Roseville and by secure video while located in California. Wendy offers counseling in Spanish, and every associate and trainee works with licensed clinical supervision.
