About Therapy

Why Therapy

Cultivating a connection with a therapist can offer a remarkable and therapeutic journey. Through therapy, you have the opportunity to embrace your true self, free from judgment or bias. It enables you to navigate the challenges you encounter and embark on a journey toward healing and tranquility.

Benefits Of Therapy

One primary advantage of therapy lies in its ability to assist you in leading a life that you find fulfilling and meaningful. Therapy serves as a support system in helping you become the person you aspire to be or once were but may have lost along the way. It can contribute to the enrichment of your relationships with those you deeply care about or wish to connect with. We aim to assist you in:

  • Cultivating new perspectives and life skills to break free from habitual patterns of anxiety, depression, and self-criticism.

  • Addressing addictive behaviors, whether related to substance abuse, relationship issues, gambling, pornography, or eating disorders.

  • Rediscovering your sense of personal empowerment, fostering a capacity for responsibility, and propelling yourself forward instead of feeling stuck, helpless, or hopeless.

  • Developing strategies to relate to emotional or physical suffering, transforming inevitable challenges into sources of wisdom and compassion rather than sources of depression and anger.

What Happens Next

Explore our staff page to determine if a counselor aligns well with your needs. Alternatively, you can contact our office, and we will assist in connecting you with a counselor.

Before your first session, you will be provided with new client forms to fill out to help the counselor understand you better. Once your forms are complete, you can book a counseling session at our Roseville Location in one of our serene, comfortable, and confidential offices, or we offer online counseling sessions.

Remember, this is your journey, and we are here to support your personal growth. Should you have any questions at any point, feel free to reach out to Darlene Davis, Executive Director, via email at darlenedavis@hope-counselingcenter.org.
