Q: What is your name & job title/license/certifications? A: Andrea Conner, Marriage and Family Therapist, Trainee
Q: What type of therapy do you specialize in? A: I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy and I am currently being trained as an IFS Certified Therapist. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families.
Q: What inspired you to become a therapist? A: My own experience with IFS therapy.
Q: What is the most rewarding part of being a therapist? A.Being able to journey alongside my clients as they move toward their goals, and being able to help facilitate their healing process.
Q: What is a common quote or piece of advice you like to give to clients? A."This is a shame-free and blame-free zone."
Q: What do you know now that you didn't know when you started your career as a therapist? A.How rewarding and beautiful this process can be.
Q: What is the biggest myth or misconception about therapy? A.The therapist is going to "fix" the client.
