Welcome! I offer support for your journey to a balanced, peaceful, and happy life. My name is Traci Bianchi Templin. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at HOPE Counseling Center, under the supervision of Darlene Davis, MFC #40875. I hold a Master’s in Public Administration/Health Services Administration from the University of San Francisco. I am currently completing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco.
I have a passion for guiding clients through their journey of finding peace, balance, and happiness in life. I view therapy as a collaborative effort between the client and the therapist. I support my client’s unique individuality, life experience, and their personal story. I value openness, acceptance, and laughter, and I strongly believe that we are all in a lifelong process of growth and change. Using empathy and compassion, I provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns.
Using an eclectic approach, I utilize a variety of complementary therapy techniques tailored to build on a client’s existing strengths and to assist them in achieving life goals. I offer hope and insight to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families wishing to find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues. I have a broad array of personal and professional experience assisting people from diverse cultural backgrounds who are struggling with issues of addiction recovery, co-dependency, anger management, ADHD, anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, parent-teen relationships and communication, trauma and abuse, and personal and spiritual growth.
To maintain balance in my own life, I enjoy spending time outdoors with family, friends, and the family dog, hiking, kayaking, waterskiing, biking, and camping. I believe that any outdoor activity with family or friends – and the family dog, Kody - nourishes my soul!
I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
