Hello, and welcome to my profile. My name is Nuria Levin and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern, IMF #65054. I am supervised by Darlene Davis, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, MFC #40875.

I recognize the courage you are showing by exploring options for support. I am interested in the journey that has taken you to this moment and I will provide a nonjudgmental and collaborative space to explore your story, your feelings, and your hopes for the future. My philosophy has always been that people do the best they can in life but that sometimes there are bumps along the way that interfere with our happiness. Through a collaborative relationship in which you are empowered to discover your hidden strengths, together we can explore the changes you wish to make in order to live a more fulfilling, satisfying, and meaningful existence.
I provide a warm and friendly environment and believe that therapy should be a safe and productive place. I offer a multi-faceted counseling experience designed to meet your needs. I can help you and/or your family resolve the challenges of anxiety, panic attacks, depression, relationship conflicts, stress, low self-esteem, co-dependency, grief/loss, parenting, abuse, and child/adolescent behaviors. These challenges can feel very overwhelming and at times seem like they can’t be solved. Getting effective counseling can help. We will work together to achieve your desired results. I employ a variety of strategies to meet your needs and help you cope more effectively, while taking the time to understand your goals and move at a pace that suits you.
I work with people of all ages (children, teens, adults, and elders) and provide various services, which include: Individual therapy, Marriage, Couples, or Relationship Therapy, and Family Therapy.
I believe each client has their own unique way of living life and understand that each individual is a survivor to their life circumstances. I also recognize the adaptive skills each person naturally has collected and nurtured over time. I use psychological principles to bridge the gap between the client’s current life circumstances and where they would like to be. I have a natural curiosity to the function of behavior and enjoy helping others to understand the strength behind behavior in order to provide insight, which can lead to positive change.
